The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is Bangladesh’s premier professional Twenty20 cricket tournament. It was established in 2011 by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). The league features seven franchise teams, and is held every year from December to February.
Start of 2024-25 season and cadence
The 2024–25 season began on 30 December 2024 and will run until 7 February 2025. A total of 46 matches will be played in this season, including a round robin phase followed by pay-offs and final matches. Each team will play each other twice in the round-robin phase, after which the top 4 teams will advance to the play-offs.
